About Us

Employee Involvement

At GSK Australia, altering our attitude to climate change is being implemented all over the business, not just at a manufacturing level. Sometimes, even the smallest actions can create a large impact, which is why we encourage our staff to make choices that will positively impact our environment, such as riding to work, remembering to switch off equipment after use and partaking in 'green' volunteering opportunities.

Below are some examples of activities GSKA's employees have been involved in, which has benefited the environment and increased our employees knowledge of environmental issues.

National Ride to Work Day

GSK Australia actively participates in the annual National Ride to Work Day, an event that encourages people to combat two of society’s most pressing issues - climate change and health.

Warrnambool to Port Fairy Rail Trail

At GSK Australia, we’ve noticed that healthy living and a healthy environment go hand in hand, which is why we recently donated $10,000 to the development of the Warrnambool to Port Fairy rail trail project, which will encourage employees to combine their physical exercise with commuting to work.

Knoxfleet and The People and Parks Foundation

GSK Australia is involved in a number of community partnerships that offer volunteering opportunities for all GSK staff. Included in these partnerships are KnoxFleet and The People and Parks Foundation, two organisations that are committed to offsetting our carbon footprint.
